Make Sure You Stretch

Did you stretch today?  I’m a big believer in stretching. Not being very flexible, I try to stretch and do a bit of yoga every day.  I know it has helped me minimize back and neck strains.

Swinging a golf club can put stress on your back.  Doing some regular stretching can help keep you flexible, so you can play golf throughout your lifetime.

While golf is a great sport for everyone, it is one of the few sports that seniors can play well into their twilight years.  At Rancho Sierra, a lot of our golfers are seniors, and I’m impressed every day to see so many out there walking the course and maintaining their health and vitality.

Here are a few stretches recommended by pro golfer, Tony Finau, to keep you limber so you can continue to golf for as long as you can. Take just a few minutes out of your day and see if they help you.
