Welcome!

Hi everyone,

We had a great time last month during our annual glowball tournament at Rancho Sierra.  We raised donations for the Veterans of Foreign Wars Foundation.  This charity provides services for veterans, active military and their families.  Specific programs provided by this charity include financial grants for military families needing help to pay essential needs such as rent, food, and medical treatment and assistance for veterans with the filing of entitlement claims with the US Department of Veterans Affairs.  Thanks to the following businesses and individuals, who contributed to our raffle and made it a great event:

Bear Valley Springs Association Dennis Bernier (firefighters and friends) Buffalo Wild Wings
Coldstone Creamery Chili’s BevMo
Cinemark Tony Beard (golf instructor) Blaze Pizza
Paul Do Canto (golf instructor) Patrick Londono (golf instructor) Olive Garden
Lowe’s Subway Crystallaire Country Club
Menchies Yogurt Dog Haus Body Works
Starbucks

Hope you have noticed some of the changes we’ve made to Desert Aire.  A few things – fresh new sand for the bunkers, big screen TV, newer range balls, new benches among others.

We’ve completed our bi-annual aeration of the greens at both courses, and they are growing back nicely!

The holidays are approaching and we still have a wide assortment of hats/shirts/apparel at both Rancho Sierra and Desert Aire.  Our current styles and colors will outfit you as nicely as Bobby and Tony!

Thanks to all who have reached out with questions/comments.  Please continue to do so by sending us feedback via your digital receipt.

Thank you for your support!  And please let us know if there is anything we can do to help improve your golfing experience.

Tips from Our Pro

What’s New and Exciting?

A quick question – do you struggle with an over the top move on the way down to the ball – Here is a tip that will change that!

Place a shaft/alignment stick into the ground at your lead hip…Check your Posture/Grip/Alignment…Take the club back…Set it at the top…Now trigger your downswing with your lead hip by bumping the shaft/alignment stick first before your arms start to fall into the slot…Run through the remainder of the swing with a nice balanced finish…Hold the pose for a second to engrain that powerful image!

By initiating your move to the ball with the lead hip it ensures that the weight transfer is headed in the right direction and that the arms/hands are the last component on the way down to the moment of truth…Impact.
