Summer is here!  Kids are out of school, time for summer camps, vacations and a chance to work on that golf game.  Bring your son or daughter out to the course, and introduce him/her to the game of golf.  Juniors play for free with a paid adult every day after 12pm.  We also have discounted junior prices, and a junior 5 Day Monthly for only $54.00.

Announcing our New Twilight/9HP Hours

Effective this Thursday, 6/21:

• Twilight starts at 3pm,
• Nine Holes Plus begins at 5pm.

Have you tried booking your tee time online?  Our online reservation system is a fast and simple way of scheduling your tee time 24/7.  Book two months out in advance for golf or footgolf, regular or senior, twilight or nine holes plus, we can handle it all!  No credit card required, simply schedule your tee time online and pay at the course 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tee time.

Summer Sizzler Special: It’s back!  Now that it’s summer, we’re bringing back our Summer Sizzler Special.  Get 50% off green fees when you play between 12pm-3pm, any day!

Grads: We also want to give our Grads a little something as well – show us a pic of you in your graduation cap and gown, and we’ll give you a free nine of golf OR footgolf (with a paying friend or parent).  This special is good through June, Mon-Sat only, so you only have a little more than a week to take advantage of this deal. 

News from the Clubhouse

We here at Rancho Sierra hope all fathers had a terrific day either while golfing here at our course or sitting with family and friends watching the US Open and guessing who was going to win. Was it a surprise? Did you have a favorite player up in the running for first place?

While the weather hasn’t reach its peak yet it has still been quite hot, please keep hydrated and cool colored clothing helps. A lot of sun screen and drink plenty of water if you get a head ache your pass the point of being dehydrated you are there! We have plenty of drinks, snacks, food and cool polo shirts inside the pro shop also we now are selling a few new clubs, and balls.

When playing and you hit that great shot and take a divot on the fairway please try and fix your divot if you don’t and the next player doesn’t we won’t have much of a fairway left, also those high perfect shots onto the greens there goes another divot we can’t stress on how important it is to fix those. There is fairway sand & seed on the rental carts and on those 2 par 3’s it is in the boxes. Keep the course nice and the person behind you will see and maybe do the exact same thing as you. Every little fix helps.

When we host a tournament we post it in the pro shop up at the desk and also in our newsletter of coming tournaments so those monthlies who just stick your head in please every once in a while step in to see if any event is coming up, that way you won’t drive out here and find out the course is closed because of a tournament for the day or part of the day.

Mens Club News

Our Mens Club had an outing at Primm Valley last week.  Great fun was had by all!

They will also be hosting a social dinner at Gino’s in Lancaster on  Wed, June 27 at 5:30pm.  Come join us – everyone is welcome!

The Club Championship tournament will be held over three Sundays, Aug 5, 12, and 18th.  Best two out of three rounds.

Next away trip planned is Crystalaire on Sat, Aug 11th.

Another away trip planned for the fall will be at AV Country Club.  More details to follow.
