Welcome!

Hi everyone,

As we are all asked to navigate the uncharted waters of the Stay-At-Home order during this coronavirus pandemic, there are a few items I wanted to mention:

While the golf courses, driving ranges, and clubhouses are shut down, we are optimistic they will reopen in a few weeks.  During this time, we are not sitting idly, but continue to work to make the courses better.  If there is a silver lining, this time gives the turf breathing room to grow and heal without foot or cart traffic.

It is however, a worrying time for our employees, customers, friends, and family.  Some of you may be dealing with sick friends and family, the loss of a job, or reduced hours at work and we empathize with your situation.  We have had to reduce work hours for our valued employees and with closed courses, our teaching professionals are unable to teach.

If you have the opportunity and the means to do so, we ask that you support your favorite businesses with take out meals or the online purchase of gift cards that can be redeemed when the business reopens.

Our teaching professionals are offering discounted lessons – $25 for a half hour lesson or $50 for a one hour lesson.  Visit our online store to take advantage of these deals and support your favorite golf pro during these lean times.  Purchase a gift card valued at $50 for only $45 that can be used at either course as well.  There are no limits to the number of lessons or cards you wish to purchase.

We appreciate you and hope you and yours remain safe and healthy.

Thank you for your support, and we hope to see you soon!

Tips from Our Pro

What’s New and Exciting?

In the mission to keep our golf swings tuned up during these unique times…We are finding many ways to get a few reps in.

This tip is incredibly useful for both indoor and outdoor purposes and the impact bag can be replaced by a pillow/backpack/laundry bag etc.

THE MOMENT OF TRUTH • THE IMPACT POSITION: This video was taken during a session with Local Standout Golfer Makayla Dorman • The drill is simple and really focuses on the impact position. As you can see Makayla’s lead side looks like she has hit a wall with a square club face. Makayla has also transferred 60-70% of her weight to her lead side to ensure she will be hitting through the ball and not at it which will maximize her yardage with every strike…But possibly the most important part of this exercise is that the lead hand (left hand) is pulling the club towards the impact position and not allowing the club to flip at the target. • At each stroke Makayla’s hands are ahead of where the ball placement would be creating incredible compression plus generating effortless power instead of powerless effort.

Hope this comes in handy….We will see you out on The Course • Range • Chipping and Putting Areas SOON!
